Home sweet home

Welcome to the new home of co.mments.

The last couple of weeks were a bumpy ride on an old server with a sluggish Internet connection. It was painful, it was slow and occasionally it would just stop the connection. I thought it would be good enough for the first month, but I didn’t expect that many users.

Now the move is over. We have a brand new server, faster and with a better Internet connection. It feels like stretching out after a long flight in coach class.

Oh, and you’ll probably notice a slight site redesign. More breathing room.

Cheers on the move and I liked the redesign.

I’m currently getting the following message anytime I try to add a new co.mment using the Firefox bookmarklet: “Oops … something went wrong.” Obviously the link does not get tracked by co.mments.

I don’t know what happened this morning, but the server decided to go crazy. A swift kicked fixed it.

(I did not find anywhere else to report this)
Asaf, did you try adding co.mments feeds to Netvibes ? It stopped working for me… Also it could be great if switching the page direction rtl would also make rtl text to appear correctly… 10X, co.mments it a wonderful tool.

I haven’t tried Netvibes yet, so I guess that’s next on the list.

Right now the comment tracker doesn’t capture language or direction. But I have some ideas how to do it.
