Keyboard shortcuts working in IE
First an apology, while I was doing the upgrade I broke the tracking engine and a few of you saw an error when trying to bookmark conversations. I fixed those, and hope we’ll have a smooth ride for the reminder of the day.
Working with browsers is never easy. You spend the time getting it working with Firefox, test it for a few days, release it. And then you have to go and do the same thing for IE and Safari. Just a few subtle differences between IE and Firefox, but they do take a while to figure out.
Now back to working on the tracking engine.

I’m getting Javascript errors in Safari - not sure if it’s due to the upgrade, as I was away for a bit.
SyntaxError - Parse error, /javascripts/scripts.js, line 2053
ReferenceError - Can’t find variable: Throbber, /track, line 14

Probably due to the upgrade.
I don’t know Safari well enough, but in Firefox you can click Ctrl+Shift+R to refresh the page and reload any JavaScript and CSS changes. That clears some problems that happen when the pages are updated.

Apparently, that’s a bug that only shows up in Safari. I’m not sure what it is or how to fix it.

More Safari problems: Value undefined (result of expression conversations.openClose) is not an object.
This means that comments cannot be collapsed on the conversations page.

I’m going to get a Mac so I can test it with Safari.
Right now I only test with IE, FireFox, Opera and Konqueror. Occassionally also with Lynx.
