Threading the comments through RSS or OPML

Hi,

Any thoughts on making an OPML available or provide multiple RSS feeds structured where each comment is an item and the permalink is the channel? Possibly keeping same url format and adding a parameter to decipher a feed/channel by using permalink title.

    Sull,

I’m rolling out a REST API this week which will give you XML access. So one option is taking that XML and converting it to OPML.

And once the API is stable, maybe adding OPML output directly.

I’m not sure what you mean by permalink. But give me a couple of days to publish the API, and let’s see how to make it better.

    Assaf,

My next question was going to be asking about an API.
Great to hear you are planning on a REST API to open up this great service. I’ll definately be experimenting on my related site at keeptrackof.it.

My ref to ‘permalink’ was simply the url w/comments such as a blog permalink that co.mments.com tracks.

Also, thanks for your work on the microParser. Very nice!

The feed aggregates all your recently changed conversations, it’s ment for users who use a feed reader.

The API will definitely break it down into collections of and invididual conversations.

Where's my comment? I get too much comment spam, so I have to moderate comments. If you don't see your comment immediately, be patient. I'll approve it the minute I see it. Want to know when your comment shows up, or check if anyone responded? Track it.
